How will I know I am connected to my VPS? #
Your VPS is running Windows, so it may seem very familiar. It may look almost identical if you are running Windows on your home computer as well.
In Full Screen mode: #
you will see a blue bar at the top of your screen. If the bar is covering something you need to click on or see, this bar can be moved from side to side by holding down your left mouse button on the bar and dragging it left or right. This window can be minimized, restored down (Windowed mode), or closed like any other program on your computer. Using these buttons to minimize or close the program does not turn off your VPS or stop your trading software. In fact, using the minimize and close buttons are the prefered way for you to leave your VPS and return to working on your home computer.
WARNING… If you believe you may be connected to your VPS in Full Screen mode, but you do not see the blue bar, hold your mouse pointer at the top of your screen for a few seconds and the blue bar should return. If you want the blue bar to stay at the top of your screen, click on the Thumbtack button on the left side of the blue bar to “pin” it in place.
In Windowed mode: #
your VPS will have the standard Windows Title Bar. This window can be minimized, restored up (Full Screen mode), or closed like any other program on your computer. Using these buttons to minimize or close the program does not turn off your VPS or stop your trading software. In fact, using the minimize and close buttons are the prefered way for you to leave your VPS and return to working on your home computer.
